We sponsored education of girl students from economically weaker section of society in Dehradun Uttrakhand.Him jyoti school school is run by ex governor of Sikkim and Uttrakhand. the school is catering to needs of girls  whose families earnings are below Rs 8000.

RAIN WATER HARVESTING

April Task by SSA

Sunshineasha contacted FORCE (NGO) for rain water harevesting .It came and discussed the possibilities of trapping water in Greater kailash III.They surveyed the area on 30 April 2014. They are making a report on it and will be submitting it to Delhi Jal Board after providing with a design for rain water harvesting in the area.When this project is completed, the mentioned area will have an additional source of water and the project will recharge the falling underground water table.It will also solve water problems of Greater Kailash III.

 On14th November  2013 celebrated Chacha Nehru's

birthday with Special kids.....“ Celebrated children's day with special children”

As we all know, 14th November is  Chacha Nehru's birthday and his love for Children. Sunshine Asha celebrated this day with around 30 HIV affected kids. We organized a picnic for them at Children Park, Near Nehru House, India Gate, New Delhi. We prepared home made food for them and organized out door games as well. Children enjoyed the rides there. We were very happy to see the smile on their faces.

We thought of energizing ourselves by spending our time with the school kids of Naaz ( HIV  afflicted kids ) in Kailash Colony . We organized a work shop of card-making and art n craft  with these children to stimulate their creative instincts .The cards made by them were
 posted to donors who gave blood in Blood donation camp oorganized in the month of September 

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

September 2013 Task by SSA

In the month of September, we thought of celebrating Navratras in a very special way by organizing blood donation camp  in association with Rotary Blood Bank  and Rotary Club of Delhi South East . We were able tosuccessfully collect 42 units of blood . One unit of blood saves about 4 lives. So Sunshine rose to save and gift life to 148 people . That was a great achievement for our group.2013 Blood Donation Camp Initiative supported by all age groups....
